8th grade celebration

 8th GRADE CELEBRATION

PERMISSION SLIP AND PAYMENT DUE BY MAY 22nd

TRIP DATE:  Tuesday, May 27, 2025

COST:   $15.00  (includes sales tax) pays for shirt and transportation     No Refunds 

AGENDA: Students come to school at the regular start time.

  Celebration will be held at Eagle Island State Park

• Busses leave FMS around 9am and return around 2:00pm

• Students will be allowed to get in the water

• Students should pack a lunch and/or snacks and water

PROCEDURES FOR THE DAY: 

• Students must wear the official Celebration t-shirt - This includes even when students are in the water. No graffiti, altering or cutting on shirts.

• Students must be dressed appropriately (dress code standards as outlined in the student handbook). Students not dressed appropriately must either change or stay at FMS instead of attending.  Dress code applies even if students are in the water. Celebration shirts and shorts must be worn over any kind of swimsuit that doesn’t adhere to school dress code policy.

• Students must observe ALL school rules at all times.

• Students who do not follow school rules will be sent home.  Parents will be called and asked to pick up their child immediately.

• Students will only be allowed to bring a small bag to carry towels, snacks, etc. All students are responsible for their own belongings.  There will not be a place to store them securely at Eagle Island.  Please do not bring anything valuable.  FMS is not responsible for ANY lost or stolen items.

• Students should bring their own water bottle and lunch.

• Students will be released for the end of the day at the normal time at FMS. (2:35pm)
