Welcome Back, Wildcats!

Welcome back, students and families! We hope your holiday break was restful and filled with special moments. After a full week back at school, our classrooms are buzzing with learning as we settle into routines and look ahead to a strong start to 2026. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We’re excited for the growth, learning, and connections ahead this year!
 

Calendar Clarification

Hello Kuna Families,

We want to provide a quick clarification regarding next week's schedule. Thursday, Jan. 15, and Friday, Jan. 16, are early release days for students in grades 6-12 only. T

Secondary students will be dismissed early to complete their end-of-semester activities and finals. Grades K-5 will remain on their normal full-day schedule those days.

Roaring Readers

It's that time of year again to kick off our Roaring Readers program!

Program Requirements:

To earn a free ticket to Roaring Springs, students must meet the following goals:

  • Kindergarten – 4th Grade: 600 minutes
  • 5th Grade: 800 minutes

Students must return their completed reading logs to their teachers no later than March 13th.

🎨 2025-2026 Yearbook Cover Contest

It’s time to show off your creativity, Wildcats! We are looking for student artists to design the cover of this year's yearbook. This year's theme is "Watch us Bloom."

Contest Details:
  • Categories: * Front or Back Cover: Grades 3–5
  • Front or Back Cover: Grades K–2
  • Requirements: * Use a standard $8.5" \times 11"$ sheet of white, unlined paper.
  • Orientation must be vertical (portrait mode).
  • Use bold, bright colors (markers, crayons, or paint work best for scanning).
  • Art must be original—no tracing or use of copyrighted characters (e.g., Disney, Pokémon).
  • Mandatory Anonymity: To ensure fair judging, do not put your name on the front of the artwork. Please include your name, grade, and teacher on the back of your entry.

How to Enter:
Please submit your completed artwork to your teacher no later than Wednesday, January 28th. We can't wait to see how you bring the "Watch us Bloom" theme to life!
